Naomi Knight as Ivy Gable

Naomi Knight is a recent MA Acting graduate from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts (London). She has been involved in the Maltese acting industry for the past five years, starting off on TV and later delving into theatre and film. Some of her most recent roles in Malta include Irene in ‘A Handbag’ (Masquerade), Blossom in ‘Rubbish’ (TMYT), Victoria in ‘Strada Stretta’ (Sharp Shoot Media) and Ritienne in the feature film ‘20,000 Reasons’ (Malta Film Commission). She has also taken part in a number of productions by Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, including ‘The Penelopiad’ directed by Christian Durham. She is currently involved in the upcoming TV drama ‘L-Gharusa’ (Sharpshoot Media)

 

Antonella Axisa as Dr. Angela Seagull

Antonella is an actress, presenter and voiceover artist in theatre, film and TV. After training and working in London, Brussels and Los Angeles, she returned to Malta and took on the role of Ashley on TVM’s ‘Ħbieb u Għedewwa’. She also had roles in plays at Teatru Manoel, St James Cavalier and Pjazza Teatru Rjal as well as film roles in ‘Simshar’, ‘Alicia’, ‘The Last Grain’ and ‘A Mocking Mile Tale’. Antonella also presents a TVM programme produced by the National Book Council ‘Paġna minn Ktieb’ and has presented numerous events for the last few editions of the Malta Book Festival, as well as national events like the Opening and Closing ceremonies of the Valletta Film Festival (2017), the Malta International Choir Festival and the Malta Jazz Festival.

Susanna Dalcielo as Annika Redwood (Red)

Susanna trained in Rome and London both in acting and physical theatre. Also working in places like Germany, Iceland and Austria, her roles include Jocasta in 'Oedipus' (in collaboration with Sztukanova), the girl in 'Roberto’s Map', the lead in the devised piece 'A Moment' at the Barbican Pit, the King of France in 'Henry V' at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Red Lady in ‘Red Ladies’ with Clod Ensemble at the Queen Elizabeth Hall. She won best actress at the Solo Festival in Camden for her role in 'Pool No Water' and was nominated for Best Actress at the NWOI Film Festival for the short 'Look After Yourself'.

Frederick Szkoda as Dr. Wilbur Seagull

Represented by TCG Artist Management, Frederick is a London born actor (with Burmese and Polish heritage). He is the new face for the fragrance brand ‘Old Spice’ for the American market, and filmed their campaign in Barcelona, directed by Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok, Hunt For the Wilder People). In 2018, his upcoming feature film productions include ‘Neo Punk’ (Cup of Joe Productions) and 'Father Figure' (Empty Kingdom Media), to be shot in New York and Los Angeles respectively. He is also attached to two other feature films with Playhouse Pictures - ‘Hit’ and ‘Charlie’, with filming in London, where he will be performing alongside Martin Trenaman and Richard Brake.

Stephen Oliver as Oscar Wetch

Stephen trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. He has worked as a professional actor and director for a whopping 35 years and besides the UK, he’s worked in several countries, including the USA, Croatia, Norway, Finland, Russia, France and Belgium and most recently, Malta. Besides bringing to life the seedy character of Oscar in ‘A Mocking Mile Tale’, Stephen’s latest acting roles include Tom in ‘Skylight Judge’, Judge Danforth in ‘The Crucible’, Peter in ‘Game’ and Duke Senior in ‘As You Like It’.

Francesca Briffa as Lulu Wetch

For Francesca, acting is second-nature and she is equally at home in front of the camera as she is on stage.  Starting off as a young chorus member in musicals and pantomimes, she soon moved on to playing main parts in numerous productions, including Shakespeare plays. Versatile and fluent in both English and Maltese, she has acted in films for television - both in local and foreign productions, including BBC/National Geographic’s ‘Blackbeard: Terror at Sea’. Francesca has also proved to be an invaluable crew member, working up to casting director for ‘Of Time and the Sea - Bahar Zmien’ (2017), though her true passion still lies in acting.

Tennessee Witney as Damien Seed

Born in England and currently residing in Malta, Tennessee is a relative newcomer to the acting scene. He recently appeared in several TV ads for Elmo Insurance, Blue Sky Furniture, Kinnie. He had roles in film productions; ‘Wounded Soldier’, ‘Mystery of the Britannic’, ‘Captain Turner’ and ‘Descending into the Unknown’. As well as screen acting, he has experience performing voiceovers and for stage.
